As a service to our community, Tau Dance Theater proudly offers Hula classes in the style of George Kananiokeakua Holokai and Modern Dance classes based on the Limon technique that was passed on by the late Betty Jones who was a founding member of the Jose Limon company in New York City. Modern dance classes focus on Pōhuli, the Tau style of movement. Scholarship opportunities are available with preference given to underserved, at-risk, native Hawaiian youth and families adversely affected financially by the global pandemic..
